About Courtney Wootton

My Story

I’m Courtney Wootton — a mother of three beautiful girls, a twin mum, a survivor of domestic violence, and the founder of Breathe to Bloom.

My story is one of survival, heartbreak, and resilience. But most of all, it’s about healing.

For a long time, I lived in survival mode. I left a domestic violence relationship while 20 weeks pregnant with my daughter, during a high-risk pregnancy that already carried so much fear. Walking away was the hardest thing I’ve ever done — but it was also the bravest. That decision saved both of us.

When my first daughter was born, she came into the world medically complex. Gastrochisis, bowel obstructions, hernias, the list of diagnoses was long, and hospitals quickly became our second home. I spent months by her bedside, watching monitors, praying she would keep fighting. My life revolved around medical appointments, sleepless nights, and constant worry.

At the time I became a single Mum, I carried so much shame with that title, believing I wasn’t enough. But I kept going — because my daughter needed me to.

Then life surprised me.

I met a man who loved me through my brokenness, who showed my daughter what real love looks like. Together, we built a new chapter. We got married, and we welcomed twins into our family. But even with love and support, the challenges didn’t disappear. Both our twins were also born medically complex. Once again, hospitals became a familiar place.

Through it all, I kept asking: Where do I find strength when there’s nothing left to give?

The answer came in the most unexpected way: my breath.

Breathwork saved me when nothing else could. It became my anchor when anxiety was overwhelming, my calm in the chaos of hospital rooms, and my reminder that even in moments of fear, I still had power within me. Each inhale grounded me. Each exhale released a little more of the pain, grief, and trauma I had been holding for years.

Breathwork didn’t just help me survive — it helped me come back to life.
It gave me the clarity to heal old wounds, the confidence to take up space, and the courage to rebuild myself.

That’s why I created Breathe to Bloom.

Because I know the weight of medical trauma. I know the pain of leaving abuse and rebuilding from scratch. I know what it’s like to feel lost, exhausted, and like you’re not enough.

But I also know this:
🌸 You are not broken.
🌸 Healing is possible.
🌸 Your breath will always lead you back home.

Now, I guide women, mothers, and survivors who are ready to reclaim their lives. Through breathwork, meditation, and trauma-informed coaching, I create a safe space for you to release, to heal, and to bloom into the version of yourself you’ve always deserved to be.

✨ Breathe to Bloom isn’t just a business. It’s my heart. My healing. My gift to you.
