The story behind Breathe to Bloom

I’m Courtney Wootton — a twin mum, a survivor, and a woman who has walked through the darkest of storms.

For years, my life revolved around survival. I left a domestic violence relationship while pregnant and found myself raising children with complex medical needs. Hospitals became our second home. The weight of trauma, fear, and exhaustion often left me gasping for air.

But in the middle of the chaos, I discovered something simple yet life-changing: my breath.

Breathwork became my lifeline when nothing else could reach me. Each inhale gave me strength. Each exhale let me release the pain I was holding. Over time, breathwork didn’t just keep me going—it helped me heal. It gave me clarity, calm, and the courage to rebuild a life filled with purpose.

That’s why I created Breathe to Bloom.
Because I know what it feels like to feel broken, lost, and overwhelmed. And I also know the power of slowing down, breathing deeply, and finding your way back to yourself.

Now, I hold space for women, mothers, and survivors—anyone carrying the weight of trauma, stress, or self-doubt. Together, we use the breath to heal, to rise, and to bloom into the version of ourselves we always deserved to be.
